Today, our hearts are heavy for our brothers and sisters in Jordan. A terrorist attack during a church funeral service killed at least nine and injured 40 others. A gathering meant for mourning and celebration of a good and faithful servant became a scene of even deeper grief. Some of those affected are connected to ministry partners and colleagues we know personally. Tragedies like this remind us how quickly the ground beneath us can seem to give way. Security can disappear. Plans can be shattered. Families can be changed in an instant.
