The Evangelical Church Winning All has confirmed several violent attacks targeting its congregation and clergy in north-central Nigeria, raising new concerns about the safety of Christians and ongoing insecurity linked to armed groups, including Fulani ethnic militias. According to an official statement released by the church, the first attack occurred earlier this week, during a worship service at ECWA Oke Oro LCC in Oro Ago, Kwara state. Armed assailants stormed the church, disrupting the service and abducting eight worshippers. Several others were injured, and the attackers stole phones and other valuables before fleeing.
