Sudanese Christian Finds Hope After Fleeing to South Sudan
Source excerpt
When an Islamic militia attacked Saleh’s village in Sudan, everything he had built collapsed in a single day. As a new convert to Christianity, the decision to follow Jesus had already come at a high cost. Family ties were broken. His community no longer understood him. Arguments filled the home, and some relatives even planned to harm him. Then the violence forced him to flee, leaving him empty and stripped of nearly everything he once knew. “I still remember the day I converted from Islam to Christianity, and the first challenge was at home,” Saleh said.
