Muslims Stop Construction of Holyland Prayer Hill
Source excerpt
Indonesia (International Christian Concern) — Several Muslims have opposed the construction of a Prayer Hill in Gondangrejo Village, Karanganyar, Central Java, Indonesia. The Prayer Hill, also known as Holyland, will feature a church, a prayer area, and a theological school. All necessary permits have been obtained, issued by the Regent of Karanganyar. A group from the Gondangrejo Islamic Community Forum (FKM) firmly stated their rejection. They considered the project a “faith disaster” and openly urged Muslims to reject its construction.
